Warranty Policy
VOLO HYDROFOIL
CARBONPRES certifies that the warranty on its products
is valid for 24 months from the date of purchase, as defined by European Directive 2019/771.
CARBONPRES guarantees that its products are free from major defects in materials and / or workmanship.
If the customer is a company, it is required to immediately inspect the goods received and, if defects and / or non-conformities in terms of quality are detected, to communicate this in writing within 14 days of receipt of the goods.
Otherwise, the claim of warranty rights will not be granted unless proven reasons.
By assembling and / or using any VOLO HYDROFOIL item or one of its components, the customer declares to have read and understood the terms and limitations of this warranty, accepting the following:
1. The warranty is valid for 24 months from the date of purchase of the goods.
2. The warranty is valid only when the product is used for normal sports and recreational activities, and does not cover products used in rental or teaching operations.
3. Damage caused by misuse, abuse, neglect or normal wear and tear is not covered by this warranty.
This warranty includes (but is not limited to) the following:
punctures, damage from mating with non-original VOLO HYDROFOIL components, damage caused by mating without proper screw torque, damage from excessive sun exposure, damage caused by improper handling and storage, damage caused by riding in excessively large waves or hitting rocks or the seabed, damage caused by hitting the foil at high speeds, damage caused by excessive jumps or stunts, or damage caused by anything other than defects in materials and/or workmanship.
4. VOLO HYDROFOIL products are tested by trained personnel and professional riders, and are considered safe for use and compliant with extreme activities when used in the correct manner.
Jumps and freestyle are dangerous activities that are completely in line with what VOLO HYDROFOIL products can support if the rider has the skills to complete the maneuvers in a clean manner.
Therefore, if a product is worn or broken and is not attributable to a purely manufacturing defect, the warranty will not be recognized.
5. CARBONPRES will make the final determination of the warranty.
This may require the customer to send multimedia material of the equipment to the headquarters or an official CARBONPRES distributor in their country (postage prepaid) that clearly shows the type of defect and/or malfunction.
A direct inspection of the product considered defective by CARBONPRES or an official CARBONPRES/VOLO HYDROFOIL distributor/store may also be required.
6. If a product is deemed defective by CARBONPRES, the warranty covers only the repair or replacement of the defective product.
CARBONPRES will not be liable for any costs, losses or damages incurred as a result of using the defective product.
7. The product may only be returned with a return authorization from CARBONPRES Headquarters.
8. The warranty for any repaired or replaced component is only valid from the original date of purchase.
The original sales receipt must accompany all warranty claims.
The dealer’s name and date of purchase must be clear and legible.
9. This warranty is void if unauthorized repairs or modifications have been made to any component of the equipment.
10. There are no warranties that extend beyond the warranty specified herein.
