We have reduced the underwater thickness of our new high modulus prepreg carbon masts by over 15%
compared to our standard carbon masts, while also increasing the flexural and torsional stiffness.
The 105 mast favors the power disciplines without wind: prone surfing, pumping and downwind.
The shorter chord length on the end of the mast reduces drag and increases maneuverability.
This ensures more planing, more efficient pumping and faster turns.
The 105 mast covers all disciplines, with a special focus on wing-foiling.
A more efficient body shape underwater means less drag and therefore a higher and easier to achieve top speed.
Ventilation on the mast is now a thing of the past.
We have paid special attention to this detail, so no matter what the sea conditions, ventilation on the TE of the mast is significantly reduced.
The 105 mast has been optimized for racing.
The thickness of the immersed part of the mast is further 4 mm thinner than the mast 85 and mast 95, to provide maximum speed.
Consequently, this mast is not for jumping.
A more efficient body shape under water means less resistance and, therefore, a higher and easier to reach top speed.
It leaves the factory hand-sanded and ready for use, providing high-level performance right out of the box.
